Popular USVI Itineraries

  • Think you’ve seen “the best of St. John?” You might be wrong…

Visit parts of the island that are inaccessible by vehicle or hiking trail. Explore the outlying cays surrounding the main island and snorkel undisturbed reefs that you won’t read about in the guidebooks.

Charter our boat and spend the day traveling around the 20+ miles of shoreline that make up the beautiful island of St. John. You will have the opportunity to see everything from National Park treasures to mega-million dollar mansions, West Indian style snack shacks, the famous floating taco bar, Lime Out, secluded north shore coves and stunning south shore rock cliffs and reefs. Multiple snorkel stops, visit Trunk Bay, Waterlemon Cay, Maho Bay and more!

You’ll see more of the island than you ever dreamed possible.

  • Pillsbury Sound: The geologic “birthplace” of the Virgin Islands and where the Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea meet/swirl together!

Spectacular scenery, snorkeling, swimming and sightseeing all within minutes of Cruz Bay, St. John. Consistently one of the calmest areas to boat in all of the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Cruise the northern islets of Congo, Lovango, Mingo, Grassy and Thatch Cays. Catch a drift snorkel as the tides shift or maybe even cliff jump on those glassy summer days.

Head over to Christmas Cove where you’ll find Pizza Pi, a sailboat serving up fresh NY style pizza while you snorkel with reef fish, turtles, stingrays and the occasional dolphin!

Right next door are views of the 125 million dollar 71.6 acre private island estate previously owned by the infamous Jeffery Epstein.

If there’s time, finish out the day with a hermit crab race at the mangrove fringed shoreline beach at Cas Cay nearby St. Thomas.

No doubt this is one of the best charter boat trips for families with kids and all other aged groups on those windy winter days!

  • Spend the morning leisurely exploring the scenic North Shore of St. John where you’ll find (arguably) some of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean: Honeymoon Beach, Caneel Bay, Hawksnest, Jumbie Beach, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, Maho Bay and MORE!

You will be surrounded by acres upon acres of undeveloped emerald green National Park hillsides, pristine bays, turquoise waters and the trade wind breeze.

You’ll have opportunity to explore secluded white sand beaches, swim with sea turtles, snorkel undisturbed reefs, float, soak, cocktail, sunbathe and check out some of the most extravagant villas on St. John.

Getting hungry? By reservation only, enjoy a 1-2hr luxury lunch date at the Lovango Beach Club & Resort or dine al fresco on the waters edge at the newly opened Zozo’s at Caneel Bay.

Cap things off with a wave to Kenny Chesney’s house and be on your way to ‘Mermaid’s Chair’ where you can play out all of your childhood Little Mermaid (or Merman) fantasies.

Close, calm and easy, this trip is perfectly suited for guests ready for a laid back day with luxurious touch.

  • No crowds, schedule, or lunch lines…
Pack your own picnic and come play! only wide open spaces on the rugged and remote South Shore of St. John.

Start the day looking for starfish and sea turtles in the tranquil waters of Rendezvous Bay. Weather permitting, drift snorkel Reef Bay or Booby Rock: hands down some of the healthiest reef system around St. John!

On windier days, find shelter in Great Lameshur Bay or Salt Pond Bay for idyllic Caribbean blue water snorkeling.

Unpack your lunch to eat onboard or find a spot under the shade along the shoreline. Stretch your legs with a quick walk to Drunk Bay and the only salt producing Salt Pond on St. John.

Want to see the historic Reef Bay Plantation ruins? Instead of hiking let us drop you there instead!

This nature lovers trip is best for those who want to avoid the crowds, visit the quieter side of St. John, take in the natural undisturbed beauty, and maybe learn a little more about the pre-colonial & plantation era history of the island.

Popular BVI Itineraries:

  • Forget about the Norman Island Caves, the Indians, and Willy T! Instead, spend the day exploring the more laid back island, Jost Van Dyke. Home of the world famous SOGGY DOLLAR BAR and CORONA ISLAND.

JVD has a year round population of about 300 residents and is today one of the few communities in the Virgin Islands where you will see the continued tradition of small scale fishing, subsistence agriculture, charcoal making and boat building.

Even though JVD is the smallest of the four main British Virgin Islands, it is home to many popular establishments and sites including: Foxy’s Restaurant and Bar, Corsairs, the Soggy Dollar Bar, One Love, Ivan’s Stress Free Bar, Foxy’s Taboo Restaurant and Bar, B-Line Beach Bar and the neighboring islands of Sandy Cay and Sandy Spit.

The surrounding area also offers some of the best snorkeling West of the Francis Drake channel. There are numerous uninhabited islands to explore with pristine shallow water reefs without the crowds of the “more popular” snorkeling destinations.

So sit back, relax, and enjoy spending an intimate day exploring the wonderful sights on and around Jost Van Dyke.

*This tour can also visit a number of locations on the West End of Tortola including: Smuggler’s Cove, Cane Garden Bay, and Soper’s Hole.

  • “The Triangle” is what some of us charter boat captains call the trip that visits both Jost Van Dyke and Norman Island in the same day. When sea conditions permit, this trip offers a great blend of snorkeling, great lunch options, island hopping and a taste of the beach bar scene.

After a quick tour along the North Shore of St. John you’ll start the day with an upwind run through the Francis Drake channel to explore the waters around Norman Island.

Here you’ll find excellent snorkeling at the Indians, the Caves, and Spyglass Wall. Cocktail and Lunch options include Pirates Bight Restaurant and Bar and of course the notorious floating bar and restaurant – The WILLY T!

Following lunch, you can spend the afternoon on Jost Van Dyke with cocktails at beautiful White Bay, home of the Soggy Dollar Bar, One Love, Ivan’s Stress Free Bar, and many others.

Or if you’re looking for a more laid back approach, head up to relax at Sandy Spit and grab a drink at The B-Line Bar.

  • You’ve been to Jost, had a Painkiller, taken pictures at the “Corona Island”, snorkeled the Caves, and jumped off the Willy T… Now what???

Lose the crowds and spend the day exploring some of the more remote islands of the British Virgin Islands. We’ll first clear customs in West End, Tortola on our way up the Francis Drake Channel towards the less visited Eastern BVI island chain.

There are numerous snorkeling locations on the leeward shorelines of these islands. You can choose from the Indians (a deep and shallow water pinnacle), ‘Lion in da’ Sun’ Rock (a shallow water point and fringing reef), or the famous Wreck of the Rhone (an 1867 ship that sank off Salt Island, the stern of the wreck lies in 15’-30’ of water where the propeller, shaft, and bridge are all still visible).

Enjoy lunch at the upscale Cooper Island Beach Club or Deadman’s Beach Bar and Grill on Peter Island. Or if you’d like to pack your own lunch, have a picnic on the beach at Salt Island where there’s an abandoned village whose residents used to harvest salt from the still active Salt Pond.

After lunch, you may want to snorkel again, explore Salt Island, tour the resort and spa on Peter Island, indulge in cocktails at the Willy T, or just sight-see through the afternoon. However it plays out, it always up to you!
