Jost Van Dyke - Nine reviewers praised Jost Van Dyke, one of the most popular BVI charter destinations. We even have a “Most of Jost” tour dedicated to it. Part of the adventure is navigating BVI customs, and as Michael Ferri pointed out in his review, Island Roots makes it seamless: “Anyone who has been to the BVI knows that customs can be a 2 to 3 hour wait that can make or break your trip. We've been with Ryan 4 times now and each time, whether it was through Jost or East End Tortola, we have been in and out of customs within 30 minutes or less.”
White Bay - Known for its beaches and the Soggy Dollar Bar. It’s easy to include a long list of stops once we get to the BVI from St. John, as Michelle Taber noted in her review: “(Captain) Max took us to Sandy Spit, Pirates Bite, snorkeling, Willy T’s, and Soggy Dollar. He planned the times accordingly so we were never rushed but still accomplished all we wanted to do. Would 100% recommend and plan to book again next time we’re in STJ!”
Sandy Spit (it’s name deriving from being in “spitting distance” from Jost) - a picturesque and peaceful destination, and considered the best uninhabited island to visit in the BVI by some. Brian Schultz said in his review, “the highlight of the trip was the stop at Sandy Spit, which was one of the coolest settings we have ever experienced. Captain Max was fantastic and knowledgeable, sharing background and fun facts. Captain Max also made a special drive by Turtle Bay where we got married on the way back to make the trip even more special. Foxy’s and Corsairs - Popular bar stops that are sprinkled in among the many stops, as this snippet of Stefanie Puckett’s review highlights, We hit Corsairs, Foxys, Sandy Spit (ahhhh!) and White Bay. Private charter days always have that “once-in-a-lifetime” quality, and Island Roots was no exception.”
